Below is my research on an online physical science A class that I developed and implemented. I applied my philosophy, beliefs, and theory to practice in the design of this course. I chose not to give students tests at the end of each unit, but rather a variety of projects, so students could learn different aspects of technology while also learning science. Students were learning more than just science and this help contribute to a comprehensive use of technology to support a digital-age education for all students. With this class I was able to contribute to the planning, development, communication, implementation, and evaluation of technology-infused strategic plans at the district and school levels. The district has been pushing for more online classes but many are too difficult for students and because I have not designed it I don't know how to help the students as effectively. With this course students were able to come to me and this also helped me in evaluating and reflecting on my professional practice and dispositions to improve and strengthen my ability to effectively model and facilitate technology-enhanced learning experiences. When students came to me I could reflect on what was working and what wasn't and make changes immediately or give extra help to students as they needed it in real-time.
